On 17 January 2023, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has announced the SVHC Candidate List for authorisation as of January 2023, adding 9 new substances to the list. It now contains 233 entries of substances.
These substances are used for example in flame retardants, paints and coatings, inks and toners, coating products, plasticisers and in the manufacture of pulp and paper.
